About
The "Böjti Csemege" – The Carpathian Basin Artisan Cheese Market, a tradition with several years of history, once again opens its doors to artisan cheese makers and enthusiasts on April 11–12 in Miercurea Ciuc/Csíkszereda.
The event aims to highlight the connection between small-scale farming and gastronomy, offering the public a chance to discover unique, terroir-style cheese specialties born from the alliance of nature, milk, and the producer.
We welcome applications from artisan and small-scale cheese producers from the Carpathian Basin until March 30. The submitted cheese samples will be evaluated by professional representatives of the Hungarian Cheese Makers’ Association.
Of course, visitors will also have the opportunity to stock up on delicacies for the Lenten season, as artisan producers will offer cheeses, honey, tea herbs, jams, and other gourmet specialties at the event.
