Festivalul Balmoșului

The “Din Zestrea Ardealului” Cultural Association, in partnership with the Lăzarea Cultural and Arts Centre, the Mayor’s Office and Local Council of Corbu Commune, organizes the "Balmoș Festival", an event dedicated to promoting one of Romania’s most beloved traditional dishes.

"Balmoș", a traditional dish specific to livestock breeders in the mountain areas, will be presented to the public as part of an event that aims to strengthen the commune’s gastronomic identity. Made from whey or milk, cornmeal, butter, cheese and sour cream, this dish has been passed down from generation to generation, preserving the authentic taste of tradition.
