"The question is not what the community can do for young people, but young people can do for the community." The Federation of Youth Organization of Ciuc Region was launched with the quoted slogan in august 1999 in order to unite rural youth organizations in Ciuc region. At the beginning CSTIT worked with fewer member organizations and foundations, but with more enthusiasm. Since then, we can say that in most communities of Ciuc region operates a youth organization or group that attempts to bring together the different layers of local youth, who, while wanting to have fun, also wants to learn and to develop themselves. Federation of Youth Organizations in Region Ciuc acts as an umbrella organization of local youth organizations, having today more than 40 member organizations. The aim of the organization is to serve the member organizations with administrative, financial, informational, educational help, which individually would not be able to provide these services.

Fundatia Agora a fost infiintata de artisti tineri, amatori si profesionisti din Miercurea Ciuc in 1996. Printre realizarile noastre se enumera organizarea evenimentelor culturale devenite traditionale, de mare anvergura, ca Gala concert de binefacere de Rusalii cu formatia Role, Festivalul international de ritm si percutie "Dob-Ban", Gala si concursul de ziua poeziei, sirul de comemorari " Copacii sperantei", concertele de craciun, si un sir de spectacole muzicale, opere rock grandioase ca "Székely Golgota", sau "Szent László, légy velünk!" s.a. Scopul nostru principal este promovarea unei culturi de calitate catre toate categoriile de varsta, prin cuvintele marelui muzicolog Kodály Zoltán: "Mica noastra lume va fi a noastra numai daca trecem dincolo de aparente pana in adincul sufletului nostru. Iar adancul sufletului omenesc este insasi lumea muzicii."

The Tusnad Spa Touristic Association has been founded by the local hospitality entrepreneurs. The orgaization runs the local touristic information center. During the Winter season the association operates the local Skislope. Great Paitball Parties are organized during the summer by the organization. Tusnad Spa's Touristic programmes: bus trips, train excursion to Lake Saint Ana and in the city, forest trip with the tracked amfibious vehicle, horse carriage tours, jeep off road tours

The Ciuc Region Transylvanian Carpathian Association is a not-for-profit non-governmental association. The goals of EKE are to: protect the natural environment; practice and promote hiking and ecotourism in general; and know, popularize, and protect cultural and ethnic values.

The Harghita Community Development Association (ADI Harghita) was founded in 2009 at the initiative of the Harghita County Council and with the support of 45 local administrations. The goal of ADI Harghita is to create and maintain long-term cooperations with the county’s local administrations and organizations working in the field of tourism, carrying out national and international projects, the purpose of which is to improve tourism, as well as maintain culture and the environment. At the same time, the association’s goal is also to protect the environment, popularize the county’s tourism, as well as launching services pertaining to the development of these. Since 2018, ADI Harghita also holds conferences and training courses to help the work, information and development of workers in the field of tourism, as well as people interested in tourism.

The main goal of the Folk Társ Association is to learn, preserve and nurture Hungarian folk culture, folk tradition (folk dance, folk music, folk songs). To popularize folk dance and folk music, organize folk music courses and dance houses. Organize free time programs for spending leisure time for cultural purposes.

Mary’s Way or Via Maria is a spiritual way for tourists. It is a also pilgrim`s way, built by the nations of Central Europe to the honour of Mary, but it also connects the shrines of Mary, without interfering with any historical, cultural, or religious differences. The aim is to build up a unified pilgrim`s way between the different religious traditions of Central Europe, and to create a network between these places. Mary’s Way builds a connection in the East-West direction between the Austrian Mariazell, Budapest, Máriapócs and Csíksomlyó, and in the North – South direction between Czestochowa, Esztergom, Budapest, and Medjugorje. The way draws a large cross upon the map of Central Europe (Austria, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, Poland, Croatia, and Bosnia) and creates a traditional pilgrimage network, similar to El Camino. Mary’s Way invites everybody. It waits for everyone – irrespective of nationality, or religion – everyone who would like to make the pilgrimage because of spiritual, religious, or even just personal reasons of conscience, and it even waits for those who would like to come simply on holiday or for sporting purposes. The way will be a bridge between religions and people connecting East and West, North and South and will become the Central and East European Way of Reconciliation`. Our hope is that in the future it will become a part of the cultural life of Europe.
