Gyimes Gastro House welcomes visitors to the Gyimes region with traditional flavors and unforgettable experiences. The menu features archaic dishes from Gyimes, prepared exclusively from local ingredients. Beyond the culinary experience, guests can get an up-close look at this enchanting world through the “Seeing is Believing” program. During a pleasant hiking tour, participants can gain insight into daily life in Gyimes farming while admiring the beauty of the landscape. At the end of the walk, they can relax in a traditional mountain cabin (“kaliba”), where the silence of nature provides true rejuvenation. Cetate Guesthouse is located in Balvanyos resort, at a very short distance from Băile Balvanyos (about 400 m) and in the immediate vicinity of Hotel Transilvania. The traditional restaurant offers its tourists specific Romanian, Hungarian, Saxon and Szekler culinary specialties, with a capacity of 160 seats.

The foundations of the castle built in Renaissance and Classicist styles were laid at the beginning of the 17th century by Mihály Daniel, deputy captain of Three Chairs (later Covasna county). Since then, the edifice has suffered many transformations, but there is one thing that has not changed: the murals, which can be considered its trademark. These frescoes, found both on the inside and outside wall, present the Daniel family and scenes from the political life of that period.  Taste the local gastronomy or enjoy a Renaissance dinner.

The "Kenyérműhely" artisan bakery and café is located in Gheorgheni/Gyergyószentmiklós. Their products – breads, sourdough baguettes, and pastries – are made using traditional, ancient methods with live sourdough starter, rye flour, and spelt flour. Our goal is to offer our customers healthy, highly nutritious, yet easily digestible staple foods that nourish both body and soul. We believe that high-quality bread should be accessible to everyone. Borsec Street's motto: Respect the past, live the present, trust the future! Street food is not a modern-day craze; our grandparents also ate outdoors while working in the fields. We believe that the warmth and spirit of fire bring people together. That is why we grill our meats over an open flame and charcoal embers. Our bread and dough-based products are made in the traditional way, without flavor enhancers. The animals whose meat we use grazed and were raised here, in the mountains of Transylvania. Pista Bá's Kitchen awaits you in Izvoare, Zetea commune, at the foot of Madarasi Hargita, where a family-like atmosphere meets fresh, local ingredients.  A Local Gastronomic Point is a rural private kitchen where hosts prepare traditional Székely dishes using ingredients sourced from their own farm or local producers. Unlike conventional restaurants, this concept embraces the principles of relaxed, slow-paced hospitality. Key Features: • Freshness & Tradition: Dishes are freshly prepared daily to showcase local flavors and authentic country hospitality. There is no fixed menu; instead, a fresh daily set menu is prepared every morning. • Family-Run Scale: The cozy, small-capacity establishment is operated entirely by just two people (Pista bá and Gabika), who handle everything from farming and sourcing to cooking, serving, and upkeep. • Opening Hours: Open from Thursday to Sunday. • Reservations: Due to limited seating, advance phone reservations are strongly recommended to guarantee a table.
