Presentation of a contemporary drama, performed jointly by the Csíki Játékszín actors and the Role band as part of their traditional charity Pentecost production.

This year marks the 20th consecutive year that the Role band from Miercurea Ciuc holds a charity performance during Pentecost. On June 7, 2025, at 6:00 PM, they will present a special production in the House of Culture of the Trade Unions in Miercurea Ciuc, in collaboration with the actors of Csíki Játékszín and guest artists.

The play, titled Pilgrimage, is a contemporary drama set in the Pentecost period and connected to Șumuleu Ciuc. Directed by Krisztina Irma Tarjányi, the drama unfolds over three acts, each taking place during different years of Pentecost:

One of the play's strengths is its humor, through which the author sensitively and insightfully depicts familiar and recurring scenes related to the pilgrimage to Șumuleu Ciuc. Alongside reality, the story raises deep and relevant questions.

Donations from the charity performance will go toward covering the medical expenses of Patrik Antal, a first-grade boy from Miercurea Ciuc, diagnosed with cerebellar atrophy.
