Visit to the Flame Cave

Visit to the Flame Cave

Tourist program / Caving

About

Meeting with the guide on site (by prior arrangement).

Program description:
The Flame Cave (originally: Peștera Flacăra in Romanian and Láng-barlang in Hungarian) is located in a riverbed, almost all the way to a cobblestone, beautiful stalactite and very clayey cave. Total length 240 m and it contains -5 m level difference.
It can only be visited in winter as it is located in a riverbed and is flood-prone from spring to late autumn. It is located in the Bardócz Mountains in the Cheile Bicazului – Hășmaș National Park (Bicaz Gorge).

Useful information:
Before each tour, the guest fills out a declaration of their own responsibility and we also recommend accident insurance, even though we have never had an accident before (and we want to preserve this tradition).
For each cave program, we provide individual equipment, a guide, who is always a cave tour guide and a cave rescuer at the same time. Halfway through the tour, we provide a hearty, varied snack.
On the tours, the individual equipment is carried by everyone for themselves, the collective equipment is carried by the tour guide or tour guides.
Permits from the cave manager, guardian, or National Park board are handled by the Gyilkostó Adventure Association.
