About

St. Ladislau, king of Hungary, fought against the Cumans at Chiraleș. One of the Cumans kidnapped a beautiful girl, but the king followed him, and with the help of the girl, he killed the pagan. This scene is immortalized on the fresco of the Dârju church. In the bastions of the fortress, the locals store their food supplies.
