Smoke and Salt - Szekler Bacon Tasting

Every March, in the heart of Miercurea Ciuc/Csíkszereda, on Petőfi Sándor Street, the event and competition called “Smoke and Salt – Szekler  Bacon Tasting” is held. The event serves as a professional guideline for producers while also functioning as a community gathering for lovers of traditional flavors. Thanks to the Association of Szekler Economic Organizations (SZGE), the two-day event attracts large crowds to the pedestrian street of Harghita County’s capital.
