Open Farm

Open Farm is a programme created for farms, agricultural enterprises and food processing units that promote local values and can be visited in a safe and well-organized manner. Its aim is to create a meeting point between local producers and visitors.

The participating units open their gates to the public by prior appointment. Visitors have the opportunity to meet local producers directly, discover their daily activities and gain first-hand insight into how local ingredients and products are made. The initiative guarantees a quality experience and ensures appropriate infrastructural, hygiene and safety conditions.

In addition to regular visits by prior booking, the units are partners in the Open Farm Weekend event, organized twice a year, during which each unit offers special programmes for visitors.
