The Likas-kő Stone (Piatra Găurită)

In the times of the Turkish invasion, a handsome man, named Biró Gábor, lived in Sânmartin village. He was very proud of his long hair, but this proved to be his downfall, as his hair got tangled in thistles and he was defeated by enemies.

The Székelytámadt fortress was built by the prince John Sigismund after he defeated the Szeklers' rebellion. There was a monastery on the site of the fortress, but the Catholic monks were banished by the Protestant ruler.

The inhabitants of the mountain fortresses made an alliance to lit up alarm beacons and signal the presence of enemies.

The devil dug a ditch to channel the water of the Târnava river. But there are many who say that the demons wanted to plow Mount Harghita to sow the seeds of sins. They rolled huge rocks from the mountain to build the Mill of Sins.

Giants lived in the citadel on the Fortress Hill. When they became thirsty, they drew a mouthful of water from the Olt River. Each time they drank, the river dried up.

Giants lived in the triple fortress, Haromvár. A young giant took a man into the fortress, but his father ordered him to take him back, because the time would come when men would reign over the earth. A dragon lived around and kidnapped the daughter of the lord of the fortress.

A king lived on the Harghita mountain. His youngest son Csicsó married a beautiful village girl and the two moved to the fortress. In the summer nights, one could see fairies sitting on the walls of the fortress.

Under the fortress, the first of the Szeklers, the Rabonbanii, hid a fabulous treasure, but it can be brought back to the surface only with the help of a grass thread hidden in the Racu church.

At the request of Tündér Ilona - Ileana Cosânzeana of the Szeklers - a fortress was built. The inhabitants suspect that a fabulous treasure is hidden underneath.
