The garden is home to nearly 40 species of birds, from peacocks and water birds to pheasants and parrots.  It is possible to pet birds and feed some species.

Fishing lake (1 hectare) and ice rink in Toplița/Maroshévíz. Tent pitches. Caravan parking. The fishing season starts on March 3, 2024. This year, we've designated 20 fishing spots for you. Reserving a spot isn't mandatory but recommended. If you reserve a spot, you'll need to pay a full-day fee. Our internal regulations expand as follows: 1. Fishing is only allowed from designated spots. The boundaries of these spots are perpendicular to the opposite shore. 2. Reserved spots can only be exchanged with staff approval. Fishing directly across from another angler is prohibited. 3. If all spots are taken, the staff will declare it full and limit access to the stands. 4. No angler is obligated to share their spot, but it's permitted if they choose to. 5. Picnicking is only allowed at designated fishing spots with prior arrangement. 6. RVs have access to spots numbered 14 through 18. 7. Entry requires appropriate gear, including a landing net and fish bag. Fishing is done with barbless hooks. 8. Recommended mainline: minimum 0.25 mm monofilament. 9. Catch and release fishing is preferred. Daily tickets allow keeping only carp without quantity or size restrictions. For other species, only specimens weighing 1.5 kg to 2.5 kg may be kept; others must be released immediately. 10. A landing net must be used during both catching and releasing (except for carp, which must be handled by hand only). 11. Before leaving, anglers must show their catch at the guardhouse. 12. Daytime fishing starts at 08:00 (07:00 on weekends) and ends at dusk, but no later than 21:00. Night fishing is from 21:00 to 06:00. 13. Prior to reserving a spot, anglers must contact the staff. We are very pleased to have been able to create a place in Harghita County that provides meaningful leisure for all ages. Children and adults can get close to the animals living in the park, and they can touch and pet them. In many cases, contact with animals can be a therapeutic nature, as it has a beneficial effect on our physical and mental health.  Nowadays, fewer and fewer pets are kept by families, so one of our goals is to introduce backyard animals and some exotic species, especially to children. The petting zoo is constantly being expanded. We also provide horseback riding and carriage rides with our beautiful pony horses. Here wild nature offers unforgettable trout and grayling fishing experience. We are doing our best to help our guests wether they are beginners or fishers with experience. Fly fishing needs special equipment, that is why we offer rental services for all of the necessary things that our guests need during this tour (waders, special boots, other fishing equipment, flyes). We think that it is very important to respect the habitat of the Tarnava Mare river. This is a catch and release zone, this means we always release the fish after catching it and we always fish with barbless hooks. We offer guiding services to our guests. All fishing tours we organize last for maximum 8 hours, which includes presenting to our guests the fishing techniques, showing them the places where they have a great chance to catch trout and free mineral water. During these tours we take pictures which are sent after the trip to our visitors by email. We are teaching children above 6 years of age, who must be accompanied by at least one parent.

If you are not afraid of the crackling, crunching ice, then ice fishing is for you. You can go to the subcetate fishing lakes and the Tetea and Frumoasa dams with fishing licenses.
