During the program, they can learn about the steps of processing based on local raw materials, as well as the production of items that preserve traditional flavors. The gardon is a musical instrument carved from wood. It resembles a cello, but its body is sculpted from a single piece of wood. At the workshop in Boros Valley, visitors can delve into the secrets of creating this instrument and follow the entire process as the wood comes to life step by step, transforming into a true wonder. Carving the gardon is a fascinating process from start to finish. As the excess material is removed and the final shape of the instrument takes form, each step represents a rebirth of the wood. During the workshop visit, visitors can see how a Gyimes gardon is made or what tools are used in the workshop.
