San Gennaro restaurant is located in a historic building. According to the legend the Hungarian poet Petőfi Sándor lived in this house for a couple of days during his trip made to Transylvania in 1846. Our story begins in August 2004, when four Italians inaugurated an Italian restaurant in the old center of Miercurea Ciuc/Csíkszereda. Today, San Gennaro is one of the city's most famous restaurants. None of this, however, could have happened without Italo De Michelis. More precisely, an Italian citizen who brought us a piece of Italy in Miercurea Ciuc/Csíkszereda.

The cozy and friendly atmosphere of our 70-seat restaurant is perfect for corporate events, business meetings, family meetings and friends as well as surprise parties.
