About

Pension Barátság (Friendship) awaits and greets everyone who travel to Transylvania. Our guesthouse is located in the basin of Gheorgheni, in the village of Ditrău, at a 13-km distance from the town of Gheorgheni, and lies only about one day-travel from all Transylvanian touristic objectives and Transylvanian cultural regions. 

The two-storey newly built pension disposes 10 modernly furnished rooms, and with two triple-bed rooms with a possibility to request an extra bed. 
We hope with confidence that the cosy, friendly atmosphere of our guesthouse will win your liking.

San Gennaro restaurant is located in a historic building. According to the legend the Hungarian poet Petőfi Sándor lived in this house for a couple of days during his trip made to Transylvania in 1846. Our story begins in August 2004, when four Italians inaugurated an Italian restaurant in the old center of Miercurea Ciuc/Csíkszereda. Today, San Gennaro is one of the city's most famous restaurants. None of this, however, could have happened without Italo De Michelis. More precisely, an Italian citizen who brought us a piece of Italy in Miercurea Ciuc/Csíkszereda.
