St. Stephen’s Day celebration

This year, we will celebrate August 20th at a new location! The Jézus Chapel will host the St. Stephen’s Day celebrations and the blessing of the new bread.

We have chosen one of the city’s most unique historic buildings as the setting for this special occasion. The history of the Chapel of the Sacred Heart dates back centuries, with research placing its origins as early as the 13th century. Its first written mention dates from 1602. The chapel also preserves the memory of the former Gyárosfalva, which later became part of Odorheiu Secuiesc.

On August 20, we will celebrate St. Stephen’s Day and the new bread together – creating new memories in a place rich with history.
