In the footsteps of the echoing cart

“In the Footsteps of the Echoing Cart” is one of the most significant and beloved gatherings for adult amateur theatre groups in our county. Over the years, this “theatre caravan” has travelled through the Nyikó and Homoród valleys and several villages across the Udvarhely region — and now, to our great delight, it has arrived in Borsec.
The event’s story dates back to the 1990s, when it began as a friendly meeting of theatre groups from the Homoród Valley. Since then, it has been guided by the same noble goal: to bring together amateur acting troupes from the region, create opportunities for sharing experiences and collaboration, and above all, celebrate the joy of meeting and performing together.
We are especially proud that the “Légy Komoly” amateur theatre group from Borsec has been a regular participant in this distinguished event for more than ten years — so we can truly say: the wheels of the echoing cart have finally rolled home.
We believe that theatre is not only art but also a powerful force for building community — a place where we can laugh, be moved, and enjoy each other’s performances.
