About
These programmes are aimed at groups interested in traditional Transylvanian lifestyle and culture. In this programme, participants can learn about local crafts, flavours and traditions.
DAY 1
- Welcome drink upon arrival and a brief introduction to the history of the castle.
- Dinner with traditional Transylvanian dishes and local specialities at the castle restaurant.
DAY 2
- Visit to a traditional pottery workshop in Corund, where participants can learn the secrets of pottery craftsmanship.
- Optional lunch at the Water Mill and Trout Restaurant in Corund
- Dinner in the castle restaurant.
DAY 3
- Visit to the Straw Hat Museum in Crișeni, where participants can learn about traditional straw hat making and can admire the museum's collection
- In the castle restaurant a 3-course dinner is served with authentic Transylvanian cuisine and folk music. Local musicians will entertain the group with traditional tunes.
DAY 4
- Traditional heritage programmes in the castle courtyard, including archery, whip cracking and furniture painting.
- After dinner, a dance evening will be held in the castle ballroom, where participants can learn traditional Transylvanian folk dances.
DAY 5
- Leisure activities, relaxation, walks in the castle's ancient forest park.
- Farewell to the castle
