Folk Museum – Căpâlnița
Folk museum
About
Its equipment reflects the 19th century living conditions. The material of the country house was collected by Irén Balázs, a retired teacher. Built in the early 1800s, the house has three rooms: a clean room, a large house, a dwelling house and a pantry. The clean room is what the locals call the Great House, which was used for weddings and funerals. The sheets and clothes were kept here as well. They spent their daily lives in the dwelling house, where the loom was. The chamber was used to store food.
It can be visited at any time of the year.
