About
The springs in Sânsimion erupt from the flood areas of the Western and Southwest parts of the locality. Water surfaces above and has a high iron concentration and mixes with the sweet water, that has a lower level of minerals.
Near the Southern boundary of the village there are three springs: Hevederfenyei, Borréti, and Lucsi. Two springs belong to the Western border, namely Aladary and Fehérföldi.
In the area with the Aszópatak springs, near the locality, sometimes there are gas rashes. There are 17 known springs in the village.
