Wine tasting: Bíró & Fia Winery

On Saturday, March 14, Páva Csík will host its very first wine tasting event.

We are delighted to welcome a truly special guest: Attila Bíró from the fourth-generation family-owned Bíró & Fia Winery, located in the Eger wine region. With 7 hectares, 9 vineyards, and 140 years of winemaking tradition, the estate combines heritage with modern technology. The winery is currently led by Attila Bíró, who continues the family legacy of quality winemaking.

Before dedicating himself fully to the family estate, Attila Bíró had an outstanding career in water polo. A former captain of Ferencváros, multiple Hungarian champion, and international professional player, he later became head coach of the Hungarian women’s national team (2015–2023), achieving historic international success.
