Subcarpați at Taste of Transylvania 2025

Subcarpați is more than just a band—it’s a cultural movement founded 15 years ago by Bean MC (Alexe Marius Andrei). It acts as a bridge connecting authentic Romanian folk music from the past to the present and future. The Subcarpați experience is defined by melodies played on traditional instruments like the kaval, flute, and cimbalom, while doinas and horas are reimagined through modern sounds and instruments.
