About
One of Miercurea Ciuc’s happiest winter traditions continues this year! On Friday, December 5, from 5 PM, join us at Liberty Square for a magical, interactive holiday performance by the Folker Ensemble, where music and storytelling call Santa Claus to town.
Children, families, and all visitors are welcome to enjoy traditional songs, regional tunes, and festive stories that invite everyone to sing along. The performance fills hearts with holiday joy and excitement while we all prepare for Santa’s arrival.

- Etel Imola Samu – vocals
- Szabolcs Csibi – koboz, double bass, percussion
- István Kelemen – violin, koboz
- Róbert Melkuhn – flute, kaval
Thanks to the Erdély Rescue Group, Csíkszék branch, SÜRGI, the festive story-themed rescue vehicle, will also visit the square with Santa and his helpers.
