About
Do we express something about ourselves (through art) — or about the world?
How do others see us? What kind of trace do we leave in the world, and do we care about the traces left by others? What tools, signs, and systems of symbols do we use to reveal — or to obscure — something? Does the artist search, or…? Does solitude exist for the creator?
How do others see us? What kind of trace do we leave in the world, and do we care about the traces left by others? What tools, signs, and systems of symbols do we use to reveal — or to obscure — something? Does the artist search, or…? Does solitude exist for the creator?
We will explore these uncomfortable and delicate questions while reflecting on human destinies, failures, and courage. A woman is human, too.
Within the framework of our Women’s Day in Odorheiu Secuiesc/Székelyudvarhely event series, we will once again host our now traditional unconventional history class, this time presented by literary historian Emese Egyed from Cluj-Napoca.
School classes are welcome to register at +40 266 218 147.
Emese Egyed is a literary historian from Cluj-Napoca and a poet awarded the Attila József Prize. Her children’s books have been illustrated by renowned Transylvanian artists.
