About

In the summer of 2024, Emese Burista and Szabolcs Benedek embarked on an exciting adventure. They traveled to Zangla, a village in northern India, where they worked on the restoration of the local palace.
The name Zangla may sound familiar, as Sándor Kőrösi Csoma lived there between 1823 and 1824, studying the Tibetan language and culture. Thanks to his work, the world received the first Tibetan-English dictionary.
Emese and Szabolcs will share their personal experiences and stories at the Márton Áron Pilgrimage Center on April 5.

We warmly invite everyone who is interested!
The event is free of charge, but donations to support the presenters will be accepted on-site.
