About

On Saturday, October 18, we are organizing the CSÍKI BEER RIDE for the third time.
Open to participants aged 18 and above only!
We start at 10:00 AM from Liberty Square.
Routes:

Long version: 123 km with 1,400 m elevation gain
Short version: 85 km with nearly 1,100 m elevation gain

By 4:00 PM we must arrive at the Csíki Brewery in Sânsimion, where:

You will enjoy a two-hour detailed presentation of the brewing process
A warm meal awaits: oven-baked pork knuckle served in bread, with horseradish and onion sauce
Plus unlimited beer tasting (unfiltered, alc. 6% and Transylvanian Csíki Beer Raspberry, alc. 1.2%)

Participation fee: 110 RON/person

Important notes:

This is not a race. There are no prizes, raffles, diplomas, medals, or support vehicles.
We are not responsible for how you ride. Respect the law, respect each other. Ideally, we ride together and regroup at the peaks.
The ride will NOT be postponed, even in case of rain. If the weather is bad, you may skip the cycling part and go directly to the brewery.
Friends, partners, or family members of registered cyclists are welcome to join the brewery tour and meal by paying the participation fee.
The tour ends in Sânsimion, at the brewery. Please do not cycle after drinking beer.
