The Ciuc Chamber Orchestra and Georgius Chamber Orchestra will celebrate this year again the Hungarian Revolution! As a fitting start to the celebration in March, on the 14th, planned for the large hall of the House of Arts, the two chamber orchestras and the Sárik Péter Trio from Hungary will perform works by Zoltán Kodály, Ludwig van Beethoven and Béla Bartók, as well as jazz arrangements inspired by them.

The conductor will be Gábor Werner from Budapest, familiar to the audience from Ciuc.

The Sárik Péter Trio is one of the most popular and influential jazz ensembles in Hungary. One of the most frequently performing Hungarian jazz groups, they regularly perform on tour all over the world. One of the keys to the group's success is that all three are very open-minded and versatile musicians, which allows them to appeal to a wide range of audiences. The atmosphere of their concerts is often more like a pop or rock concert. Their performances are truly audience-friendly concerts, full of humour, playfulness and joy.
