AIR LINES koncert /// III.15. \\\ ANT

Air Lines is a noise-rock band based in Bucharest, founded by bassist Augustin Nicolae (ex-The Amsterdams, Dekadens, Orizontal, Partizan). The project took shape during the pandemic when Augustin developed musical ideas and teamed up with producer Ștefan Lăzărică, who later became a full band member.

Their first DIY video premiered in the summer of 2020 on their YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/@AirLines007), leading to an accelerated creative process. In 2023, they released their debut album, Temples, on limited-edition vinyl in Lithuania.

Air Lines has been an open project, involving various musicians in its early phase, including Chris Olsman (ex-The Amsterdams), Robert Dalquist (ex-Dor Mărunt, We Singing Colors), Robert Casmirovici (ex-Coven Clash, Mars and Daemons), and Mihai Ionuț Andrei (Breathelast, The Boy Who Cried Wolf).

In 2023, the band embarked on a Temples promo tour, supporting Omul cu Șobolani and performing in Bulgaria. Following the tour, they started working on their second album, A Leap of Disbelief, with a new lineup:
