Commemorating the 1956 Hungarian Revolution – Folklore Performance at Csíki Cinema
As the closing event of the 1956 Hungarian Revolution and Freedom Fight Memorial Day, we warmly invite everyone to the Bekecs Dance Theatre’s “Heritage in Motion” folklore performance at the Csíki Cinema.

The folk dance ensemble from Nyárádszereda takes the audience on an authentic journey through the Carpathian Basin’s diverse cultural landscapes, showcasing traditional dances and music from regions such as Dél-Alföld, Felcsík, Gyergyó, Szatmár, Méhkerék, Szilágyság, Sóvidék, and Kalotaszeg.

The performance reflects the artists’ belief in the power of cultural heritage and its role in shaping the future.
